Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnerships in the field of Education and Training submitted by European NGOs: what you need to know to apply!

The primary goal of Cooperation Partnerships is to allow organisations to increase the quality and relevance of their activities, to develop and reinforce their networks of partners, and to improve their capacity to operate jointly at transnational level, boosting internationalisation of their activities and through exchanging or developing new practices and methods.

The applicant coordinator must be a European NGO active in the field of education and training (EDU). Check out the specific definition of a European NGO and the description of this action in the 2025 Erasmus+ Programme Guide published in all official languages of the EU.

 

Important novelties of the 2025 Call

  • The European body/Secretariatof the European NGO applies on behalf of the European NGO.
  • The definition of the European NGO has been revised. The European body/Secretariat must be legally established forat least two years in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme.
  • Geographical location of participants in the projects has been revised: any public or private organisation, established in anEU Member State or third country associated to the Programme or in any third country not associated to the Programmed in region1 (Western Balkans), region2 (Neighbourhood East) and region3 (South-Mediterranean countries) can participate. Organisations from Belarus (Region 2) are not eligible to participate.
  • The eligibility form “ERASMUS EDU PCOOP ENGO 2025”must be completed and uploaded in the submission system under Information on partnership and activities”.
  • Award criteria“Quality of the partnership and the cooperation arrangements” new point added. The consortium includes partner organisations outside the applying European NGO, opening it up to cooperation beyond its national organisations/branches.
